Intercom Replacement
Our appointed contractor, Heston Apex Europe Ltd, has now commenced with the replacement of both the video entry and access control throughout Kings Chelsea. The upgrade will consist of the Estate wide replacement of all video and audio entry panels leading into blocks, car park entrances, barriers and gates.
Before Heston Apex can proceed with their infrastructure work, they need to confirm that all current handsets in all apartments are fully functional . Once checked they will be recorded as functional or not and the leaseholder informed if this is not the case. This initiative will diagnose pre-existing conditions with faulty handsets and those recorded as faulty will not be as a consequence of the new infrastructure, which has been installed. Should a handset that has been recorded as fully functional fails to work once the new infrastructure has been fitted, then in this scenario Heston Apex will rectify the issue. It is therefore very important that each apartment handset can be tested before the infrastructure works begin, otherwise any handset that is reported as faulty post infrastructure works will be the leaseholders responsible for the repair/replacement of their own handset/s.
Heston Apex will need access to your property on 28th-30th April, during the allocated time shown below.
All HAE engineers are security screened and should not be in your property for more than 15 minutes. They will be following the Government Guidelines on Covid-19 whilst carrying out these works and they will be wearing PPE, including facemask and gloves.
If you are currently shielding, self-isolated or have Covid-19 systems, please contact the KCE team direct.
Please note that each building has an allocated service slot. Please see below your time slots. Please be sure to book your slot within your allocated time.
